Just A Warning!

Hello everyone! Before I make an actual post sometime this week (most likely tomorrow), I just wanted to warn you guys about something that may or may not affect my posting schedule.

You Guys: You mean the one you don't have?
Me: SHUSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

XD!
Okay, anyways...

I live in Texas, and, down by the Gulf Of Mexico, there's a hurricane heading for the shore. No no, don't worry, I don't live by the coast- I'm further up, and I don't live by any huge bodies of water, unless you count lakes! XD!
But anyway, a lot of people are worried, because the hurricane is going to cause a lot of rain, and there's a very good chance it's going to flood where I live. Not a life-threatening flood (as far as I know. It's flooded where I live before.), but still pretty bad. There's also a chance that the power in my town could be off for 3 or 4 days.
So, if I suddenly disappear and become inactive in the community for a few days, don't worry, I'm okay! It just means that the power is out, and I'm not able to get on my computer.
Eek. I'm a bit worried- natural disasters freak me out- and a news website said that it was strengthening into a Category 3 hurricane. Right now, I THINK it's considered a tropical storm (well, Google seems to think so), but I'm pretty sure that won't last long. Everyone down by the coast had to evacuate and come up to stay in the towns that we live in and are close by, until the hurricane passes and they can go home.
I sure hope this situation won't get as bad as they think...

Once more, don't worry if I'm active one day and silent the next! I don't know what problems this hurricane will cause, but let's all hope that it's not many!

  1. OH MY GOSH, SWIRL!!!!!!!! :OOOO

On my Blogger Dashboard, I read the word "hurricane" on your post and was FRANTIC!!!! :o I'll pray for you and that you'll be safe!!

I pray everything's going to be fine! :o

I have never experienced a true natural disaster. I don't live anywhere close to the shore and there is kinda tornados but they don't really go around me... They HAVE but not when I've been alive. XD

Praying for you!!!! D: Thanks for telling us, Swirl!

Eek, everyone around here is talking about the hurricane. My dad said there are multiple news channels doing reports, and that they're literally standing in the wind and rain and saying "As you can see, it's getting really windy out here!"
      GO INSIDEEEEEE PEOPLE! XD!

Yeah, natural disasters don't really happen much around me either. I don't live on any fault lines, so earthquakes don't affect me, and I don't live close enough to water to have hurricanes, either. Sometimes there are tornados, but I've never been literally IN one.
Okay, there WAS that one time where I was at the camp I go to at the beginning of summer every year, and everyone had to go in the cafeteria because of a tornado that was really close. Luckily, though, it didn't end up hitting us. :)
Heh, I was kinda hoping no big natural disasters would happen while I was still kinda young like this.
Welp, there goes that dream. :1

I'm a little confused right now though, because it certainly doesn't seem to be stormy where I live...

    2. I know right?? O.O Me and my dad watched a few seconds of this news thingy and the dude is standing out in the rain and wind. Why. XD!

Yeah, it does seem like the all the rage on the internet. Yesterday evening, my mom was like, "Hey, there's a hurricane in Texas!" And I was like, "Mhm, I already knew that. My friend told me." XD And then I was wondering out loud about it and my bro thought I was worrying about it because a movie star that I, um... *blushes* ...like lives in Texas. And I was like, "Dude. I'm worrying because my friend lives there!" XDD A movie star can just go on his fancy plane and go somewhere fancy and safe. Besides, I don't KNOW him like I know you!
*stops rambling for a second* Um, that made no sense... XD

XDDD Yeah, news people are crazy. XDDDDDDD

Ohhh! :o A tornado at camp would be scary, actually. I'd feel bad for the counselors. I bet they were even more worried about all the campers...
Ah, I hope I don't ever experience a natural disaster. o,o Too scary... XD

*feels like I am about to ramble* LET'S GO!! XD (Prepare yourself. This could get weird.)

So today, I biked to Dairy Queen with my siblings and I got a yummy chocolate brownie fudge blizzard. It was yummy. XD Then we biked home and me, Koolest, and my bro, Dreadwisp/Josiah, watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Curse of the Black Pearl. It was really good!! The humor is great and funny. XDDD And Jack and Will are the best. Will can be awkward in a cute way. XD So now I have a new favorite movie but then again, I don't ever have just ONE favorite movie. At the moment, I love Curse of the Black Pearl and The Maze Runner. :D *is still rambling* Have you watched them? If you haven't, you should!! I would rate them both 5 stars. ^.^ Plus, in The Maze Runner, a character named Newt is really cool. I also like Thomas. And Minho. Annnnd yeah, its a wonderful movie!! *bounces up and down* Newt is awesome. So is Thomas. And Minho. And the movie is intense. But just the right amount of intense. I'm blabbering, aren't I? Well, that's because I'm tired and hyper. Don't ask. XD

Ok, I should probably stop. Right now. Righhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Hehe, I have Pirates of the Caribbean music in my head. Hehe. XD

      Okay, BYEEEE FOR NOW! XD

      XD!
And aww! I'm glad you're thinking of me! :) I do hope the movie star you like is okay too, though! (I think most people are okay for now...)
So far, it's been raining and windy all day where I live. Guess I'll be staying inside for a while. :1
And OHHHH MY GOSHHH, WE KEEP HEARING SOME KIND OF HIGH-PITCHED NOISE COMING FROM EITHER OUTSIDE OR IN THE WALL, AND WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS!!! XD!
I thought it was a bird, but maaaybe it's a mouse? We've never had mice here before, so maybe it was taking shelter from the storm. Idk, but it keeps chirping/squeaking and making everyone in my house look around, XDD!

      XD, yeah.

Yeah, it was pretty scary. And HOT, because they packed more than 700 people inside one cafeteria (okay, so it's a bigger cafeteria than a school one, but it was still crowded)! Ohhh man, I was freaking out. Well, in my head, XD!
I hope you don't experience one as well- they're not fun. :L

      *Straps on seatbelt*
      XDDD!

*Gasp* You can BIKE to Dairy Queen!? I can't even bike to the nearest Target! XDD!
I haven't watched those movies yet! Maybe I'll try to sometime, though, since they sound super cool! :o
EEEK I HAVEN'T EVEN READ WONDER YET!!! AND NOW THEY'RE MAKING A MOVIE BASED OFF OF IT!!! AND MY SISTER IS GOING TO READ IT IN HER CLASS!!!! NOOOOOO I'M BEHINDDDDDDD!!!
*Writes down "Wonder book" on birthday wishlist* XDD!

      XDDD!

      Byeeeeeee!

Oh yeah, I heard about the hurricane coming near Texas.. I'll be praying for you, and the people affected by this!
Ack I remember a while back hearing about hurricane Matthew, looking at the images and maps of it, and it was freaky o.o

You're not alone, just hearing about natural disasters are kinda scary. Just pray :) God will protect you! But you have to ask.

That's okay! As long as I know you're still active in the community, I'm fine! :D

Yeah, they're pretty scary! I heard my parents saying that an entire high school down by the coast was demolished. O.O

Yeah, tell me about it. I freak out everytime I hear something like a tornado is nearby!
That's what I did, hehe! A few tornados have come my way before, and I believe He helped me in those times as well! :)

      Hehe, take your time! :D

Oh wow O.o My dad was saying that there's these little islands with summer homes on them, and they're probably completely covered with water. So when people said the hurricane was coming, they would have to get off, or else people wouldn't be able to help them get off 😬

      That's awesome! :D :D

    3. Itsa yooooou! XD!

Oh yeah! Actually, one of those beach houses might have been the one we stayed in this year on our trip to the beach! It was about a block away from the beach, so I'm guessing it's pretty badly damaged. :L
The people who owned that house also said that their neighbors chose to stay, even though the police told them to leave. Oh goodness... :O

      :DDD

      YESSSSSSSS THE BANANACORN!!!
      I MUST MAKE A MASTERPIECEEEEEE!!

    2. Hehe, one time when our neighbors had a trampoline, they didn't dig it into the ground like we did, so their trampoline blew against their house I think XD (Nobody was hurt, neither was their house, it was really funny though lol)

As a former Florida kid, I know how hurricanes can be. Just stay inside -- and pray it doesn't flood. That'd be a mess. ):L

And they keep talking about the flooding on the news...
Yikes. Hopefully it won't turn out to be as bad as everyone thinks.

  8. Swirl, this hurricane doesn't look too good. D: There's flooding. I sure hope you're okay, I've been listening to the news quite a bit. I feel so guilty, especially because I live on the west coast and we have sunny skies today.
Good luck. If the electricity doesn't go out, remember to flop into a corner of your room, open Animal Jam, and drink hot chocolate.
    Hot chocolate solves everything.

Luckily, the hurricane has pretty much passed. It actually felt super nice out today! There will be a it more rain later on, though, so I've got my fingers crossed! :)

Ooooh, now I want hot chocolate... XD!
