Poems and Pets

Aloha everyone! So sorry I didn't post yesterday, I unexpectedly had a friend over for a sleepover! But I'm here now! Today I'm gonna talk about the update, but FIIRST.... I want you all to preview a few poems I write. They are for 2fangwolf's poetry contest, and I wanted to know which one, or which ones, you guys want me to enter! The rules say to stay positive, which is sort of a challenge for me, just because I write poems easier when they have an element of anger or fear. Just gives it that spice, ya know? But enough talk, let's get to the poems! Let me know in the comments which ones are the best! The ones that get the most votes gets entered in 2fangwolf's contest!

The Chamber Of Knowledge

Scrolls, books, and bottles

Statues and artifacts in dimly lit halls

A single, silent seal found this

And marveled at it all.

Mira

She spreads her great wings

A loving spark in her eyes

And holds us all close

Wonders

What wonders lie beyond Jamaa

That have not yet been seen?

Ranging rivers, giant jungles

They would be quite a scene!

But all of us are so scared to go

Adventure on our own

That I wonder when we will find out

If these lands could be a home.

Greely

Proud and independent

Some may think he's cruel

But the truth is

He is the most loyal of them all.

Creation Of Jamaa

Once, in a far-off land

A heron had a dream

A spirit called to her

And a bright, big land could be seen.

The spirit said to find this place

And make a land of harmony

It graced her with the name "Mira"

Then off she flew, across the sea.

After many months of travel

She found what she had seen

She created a new village

On the fields of green.

Though tough problems made her weary 

And the phantoms tried to strike

Mira never gave it up

Until her world was just right

She flew around the world

Who did she invite? All!

Now we all love our new home

The great land of Jamaa.

Next up, the update! We have 200 MORE BUDDY SLOTS (WOO!!), a Spring Cottage Den, the return of Graham's Workshop ( Awesomeness!), new ROCKER clothing, and the Cruise Ship Party's and hyenas' return. Woo, that was a mouthful, huh? But the best part is...NOW OUR PETS HAVE ACTIONS! I will not post ALL the actions of ALL the pets because #1. I don't have all the pets, #2. That would take WAY TOO LONG, and #3. Who wants to read that? So I'm gonna do ONE example! This is my derpy pet tiger, Fuzzyturtle, and my derpy fox!

Aren't we a beautiful pair? Yes, yes we are. XD

But anyway, here's the pet tiger actions! ( Note: The pet's actions do not depend on the animal.)

Cute, no? The pet tigers also have a new default pose!

Seems a little strange to me. Don't get my wrong, I LOVE poses like that, but for a default pose? I don't think a tiger, digital or not, would stand in one place like that. Unless it's been sneaking around somewhere as a spy or whatever and was slinking towards something, and then someone found it and shone a flashlight on it, and the tiger froze in the beam of light like they do in movies! Even though freezing does nothing to hide them or protect them. YAY!

 Hehehe...yeah.

Wow, that was...a lot of typing. You have no idea how long this post took to make! But I suppose I'll be wrapping it up now! Remember to...

Didn't Quit

Quitting

No, it's not ME who's quitting! Did that title scare you guys? No worries, I'm staying! Unfortunately, though, many others HAVE quit AJ in the past two years. I dunno why I want to post this, I guess it just feels better when you write ( or type) your feelings down and get them out, right? Anyway, here's a story for each blogger that quit that I know of.

Mister Chunkybuddy

 Mister Chunkybuddy was my inspiration. The one who made me start this blog. But he recently quit, and his blog, Animal Jam Cheats and Codes, was given new authors. I wanted to make a link, but I can't. Why? BECAUSE OF THIS:

Yeah. Only CERTAIN PEOPLE can read it now. It doesn't even show up when I type " Mister Chunkybuddy" on Google Search! I'm honestly mad at those authors. I would have loved to re-read MCB's AJ Legends and posts, but I can't now. What's the point of KEEPING THE BLOG UP if NO ONE CAN READ IT!?       >:c

Cloudclaws

Probably my favorite blogger ever! She always had posts that made me laugh. She left because, well, her interest in AJ died, and because of how people cared too much about RARES. She said she might return in maybe 6 months. Yeah, it's been almost a year now. Guess she forgot about AJ and her blog, but I miss her a lot.    :C

Meloetta385

Meloetta385, or Mel, as many call her, didn't exactly "quit." She has just been being hacked recently. and CONSTANTLY. She says that the hacker seems to know when she changes her password, or gts on another account of hers. So she has decided to "quit" until the hacker stops and she can get her account back. She doesn't go by the username Meloetta385 anymore, but she still plays on another AJ. I hope that hacker stops soon, she's a great, funny blogger.    :P

Grace2092

Grace quit a few days ago. She posted on the Animal Jam Community Blog. She said too much was going on in her life, and that she doesn't have time to post anymore. She was a great blogger as well, and I met her once too!    :)

Ferretlove36036

Ferretlove was a great buddy, and also posted on the AJC Blog. We used to roleplay almost every day together. I dunno why she quit, let me look it up...

Hm. I guess she felt that people didn't appreciate her or her work. People DID yell at her and bully her on that blog. I feel bad for her.    ;(

Also I found this on her quitting post.

Sometimes I just hate people. That was rude to me AND Ferretlove! I wonder if it's the same person who bullied me on there when I was gonna apply as an author...

And there's another blogger, who I just became buddies with, who might quit soon, I dunno yet. He says he may quit because things in life, and because, yep, the RARES PROBLEM.

Do you see what I mean? 5 bloggers! In the last 2 years! It may not sound like much, but I hate that so many people are leaving. And a lot of this is caused by famous jammers, who stir up rumors about items so that they suddenly become "Rare", everyone wants one, and the AJ Economy gets even more chaotic! I'm not saying ALL famous AJ YouTubers are like this, though a lot are. But yeah. 

Anyway, I'm sorry if this post bored you to death, but you can read it or not, it doesn't matter. I just wanted to write this somewhere, and if I write in a diary, my hand hurts because I write and fast while holding my pencil weirdly, lol! FLASHBACK FRIDAY!

Hi everyone! Guess what? Today, I was at Violet's blog's party, and I decided that, maybe, this year I'll do a blog party for the WJN as well!! ( What do you think? Should I? Would you come?)
But of course, I couldn't do that unless I knew what day I started my blog! So I looked up my VERY FIRST post, and I found it! I was thinking "FLASHBACK" a minute ago for a title to this post, but then I realized..."IT'S FRIDAY! PERFECT! FLASHBACK FRIDAY!" So...yeah. XD Here's my VERY FIRST POST EVER!!

Hehe, yeah... It wasn't much of a post. More like a " HI I MADE A BLOG TODAY!" greeting-thingy. But still, memories! <3                                       X3

Falcons and Plushiez

Hey hey! It's me, swirlshine, again, of course! I honestly dunno why I say that, I'm the only author, but anyways... We have a new animal! FALCONS! I wasn't too excited for these animals, for I felt they would just be thinner, smaller versions of eagles, but now that I have one, I'm in love with it! This might be my favorite flying animal yet, actually! So today, I'm gonna show how these birds look doing actions and on player cards. I bet you all basically know what they look like on player cards now, but if you don't, here ya go:

I took a screenshot of the first falcon I saw in Jamaa Township, so...great job random bird, you're famous!

Pretty, no? That's just a start! Here are all the actions!

So, the other I saw a new AJHQ den ( No, not by the workers who actually go by the username "Ajhq".), and of course, there were unreleased things in it. But the thing that caught my attention was this:

Also, there's a new OWL CLAW! I found it in a den, tried it out myself, and after two tries, I got this!

As you can see, I'm in luv with it! It's so CUTE! Seems as if this is a "rare" ( I call them Special) plushie, and it's...on a flatish-looking cloud I guess? I really dunno what that poofy white thing is, but the owl is A-DOR-A-BLE. Do I sound like a super diva girly-girl when I say stuff like that? Idk...

Welp, that's pretty much all for now! The rest of the update isn't that exciting, just a feature where you can enter a code without logging out and logging back in again, another feature that sorts items in stores by released, price, or in ABC order, and a new Jammer Party that's basically that disco-looking one, but pink.
